Hi everyone! I am an author and the owner of Gibson-Ragle Publishing Co. located inside the Carnegie Community Arts Center at 107 N. Main Stree in Somerset, KY. I would like to introduce all of you to my own writings of Dance at Midnight, Come Sail away and The Trinket Box. And now the release of Secrets of Winston's Mountain, Dinky the Red Squirrel with matching coloring book, and last but not least my newest paranormal thriller, The Bad Man. I really hope you'll enjoy them. As a publishing company owner I try to publish about anything anyone has dreamed of publishing. I read your manuscripts and edit it and then, we are ready to place into the publishing system account where you can add more manuscripts and become the author you always dreamed of being.
I love being able to help people with dreams of becoming published find a way to do it at a reasonable price. Each publishing contract is based on each individuals needs and ability to pay. Everyone has a story that starts at home. I once published a book for an elderly gentleman that wanted a book of his favorite jokes and his memories of a cousin; to leave behind as a legacy to his family! There's no book to small or to large to publish at Gibson-Ragle Publishing Co.
I now do children's books with their stories and their very own illustrations; allowing children to fulfill their dreams of becoming published. The confidence and self-esteem that benefits your child is amazing. Please contact me at www.gibsonraglepublishing.weebly.com. if you need more information.
Besides publishing and writing myself I also teach Creative Writing Classes at the Carnegie Community Arts Center. We meet every second and fourth Wednesday of the month from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. The cost is $15:00 per session. We enjoy each others company while learning the technique of "Free Spirit Writing." We learn to find our inner selfs and the child hidden inside. Finding this helps us to steer clear of writer's block, self-doubt and more. I have found the classes have been very theraputic for all of us.
At 6:30 on the second Wednesday of the month we also meet for Poetry Night downstairs in the Bistro Area of the Carnegie for open mic night. Where we do everything from poetry, readings, singing and skits. The Bistro Area has the right atmosphere for holding Poetry Night. We do require a $5.00 donation to help keep the Poetry Class going.
